Deep pour Mac

It's a nice idea, but a no go if you suffer from motion sickness. They really need to make the dizzying coverflow effect optional and allow people to view the images as a flat presentation.

I have to admit, I have a love-hate relationship with this software and Ironic. I thrilled when I discovered Leap, Deep and Fresh. I still use Fresh everyday. Deep will not update so I am still running 1.2.2. Now I see there is a 1.4.3 version out. As this area is about Deep all I can say is that I have felt it abandoned for a long time, which is sad because even my older version is a great idea and well done. Now, to support the negative comments about Ironic (no tantrums here, just truth). Leap used to have a well ordered tag list. Then the developers decided on their own (many users besides me gave negative feedback on the forums about the change they made) that the tags in Leap should be in a cloud. Very hard for me to make them out that way. Organizing is the point of buying Leap, isn't it? And if they change it so you get your brain around it, by making they tag list into a jumble of words (a cloud) whats the point there? Anyway, I finally left all ironic products save Fresh. And it really is a pity because they really do need to have better support with the regular users. Yes, I have said all this many times before on the Ironic forums, to no avail.

What a joy! Beautiful set up, all the images and photos on my computer in a flow better than cover flow ... and by color, shade. Amazing Nothing like it. This painter says, Awesome!

The only conclusions one can derive from developers who leave trusting customers hopelessly adrift with their binary waste products is they are either poor coders, have lost their Riddlin or find some kind of perverse enjoyment selling things that don't work. These are the same people who are responsible for Leap, a tagging travesty in my experience. If you care to you can read about the joy that product has brought into my life over on the Leap page but no matter, I would caution anyone to be careful with any developers who fails to get the basics of one project completed before moving on to others. Shame on you Ironic software.

Seems like a good start. I'm getting the feeling that it's not going to become truly effective unti there's a 2.0 release. I'd like some way of controlling the initial batch logging procedure so it's not pulling up useless pics cached from the installed browsers. It should use Quick Look (though it does show larger versions of "cliked" pics). No keep in mind this is just my first brief run through of the UI. I could be missing a lot of hidden functionality.
